Today I went to the local art gallery to see an Edward Ardizzone exhibition. My copy of 'A Child's Christmas in Wales' by my dearly beloved Dylan Thomas is illustrated by Ardizzone. Although my own artwork is nothing to get excited about, I greatly enjoy it. My own style is very similar to his illustrations, although not quite so good unfortunately ;-) My favourite pieces of the exhibition were the illustrations from a book about a cat called Mackenzie, and illustrations from a book called 'The Witch Family'. I had a really wonderful time.
